Patch - October 25 2024


Weapons

-Disabled all robot weapons being available from the base, now only the standard pistol and fist are available. All other weapons are found/purchased during a run (and lost at the end of the run)

-Starting Pistol and Fist weapons have been nerfed significantly

-Enemy weapons can no longer be purchased/rewarded

-Guardian and Juggernaut shields have been changed to melee weapons and will animate their hits

-Guardian and Juggernaut shields have a durability, and after 10 hits for the Guardian and 30 hits for the Juggernaut the shields are dropped and broken

-Fixed temporary carry weapons being given back to the player when they change level even after the temporary carry weapon has been dropped.

-Fixed melee weapons hitting the same enemy/solid multiple times per attack

-Fixed melee attacks not triggering barrels

Suits

-Mech Marshal ability now works with melee weapons

-Perfect Block with the Titan Frame is easier to perform

-Fixed crash caused by performing a Perfect Block without holding a weapon

Enemies

-Enemies always drop damaged versions of their weapon on death, which can be picked up as temporary carry weapons

-Boss enemies cannot be stunned

-Behemoth Boss HP reduced to 15000

-Behemoth Boss hit state duration reduced to a single step

-Amount of other enemies during boss level reduced by half

-Acid spitting enemies no longer spawn during boss levels

-Astrolooter Elite enemy disabled (being improved for a later release)

-After dropping their shield Guardian and Juggernaut enemies can never be invincible again

-Fixed Behemoth drawing its current state as text

-Fixed issues with enemy capacity and wave logic not being updated correctly when enemies die.

-Fixed Training Dummy # not updating correctly

Objectives

-Clear Enemies objective is skipped for Multiplayer Versus

Attachments

-Attachments show if the current player weapon cannot pickup the attachment

-Attachment slots on HUD show when the current weapon cannot accept attachments

Perks

-Removed Air Strike

-Removed Black Hole Bomb

-Disabled Health Regen (being improved for a later release)

Shop

-Weapons can now be purchased from the shop

-Layout has been slightly expanded to allow for the weapons display

-All shop item costs increased significantly

-Suits have descriptions explaining their ability and perks (if they have one)

-Fixed suit ability items (arc conductor spikes and pulse jumper anchors) not being removed when changing suit

Characters

-Briggs the base mechanic has been given a short conversation

-Rusty the merchant has been given some bark reactions when the player enters the shop, depending on whether the shop is unlocked and then if it is how much cash the player has

-Rusty’s pet cat has been added

-Rusty will not have his backpack until the player unlocks it from the base

-Talon the scavenger has been added to the reward flow of runs

Companions

-Loki barks “WOOF!” During a bark attack

-Companions do not spawn in Multiplayer Versus runs

Base

-Coop and Versus for multiplayer buttons available

-Starting Cash upgrade now gives more cash

-Scrap pile showing Scrap count

-Training Dummy give a nerf gun that does 0 damage

Resources

-Scrap added as a resource

Traps

-Fixed weapon traps crashing the game when attacking

Other

-Acid is removed if the character that spawned it dies

-Acid fades away significantly faster if it deals damage

-Level decorations no longer spawn around teleporter

-Health barrel asset updated to no longer reuse ammo barrel

Dev

-Just pressing R in dev mode (F3) doesn’t restart the game anymore, Left Control must be held whilst pressing it to restart

-Level decoration placement debug logs disabled

-Playtest view in debug overlay given additional buttons to give the player Scrap and XP
