Patch - November 2 2024


Player

-Players can revive other dead players in Coop Multiplayer -Gamepad now has aim assist (magnitude can be set in the settings) -Player cannot die from decay damage (bleed/poison - anything that does damage over time) -Players can now dash attack other players in Versus Multiplayer

Weapons

-Perfect Reload reloads the weapon faster -Perfect Reload is available for longer at the start of total ammo depletion recovery -Perfect Reload availability is indicated by a white reload ring and the reload text -Spear attack hitbox updated -Weapons gathered from a run get scrapped at the end of the run

Suits

-Engineer (starting) suit given Starting Turret perk -Engineer (starting) suit ability implemented - a remote control weapon that can control turrets aim and attack -Suit Perks only granted on suit MK. 2

Enemies

-Summoner enemies do not spawn enemies during the Clear Enemies run objective -Enemy progression initial design implemented. Harder enemies will be introduced and easier enemies will be removed as the player progresses through the run. -Specific Elite enemies selected for each Elite enemy level -Teleporters no longer use the player spear, and have their own spear weapon -Teleporters now have a back facing sprite -Teleporters drop attachments -Spitter and Acid Tank attack range increased

Objectives

-Elite enemy levels now only have one objective, to kill the elite enemy -HUD Objective Arrows pulse larger and spread in a oval shape that fits a landscape screen better -HUD Objective Arrows disappearing when they shouldn’t fixed -Dash Attacks count toward attack objectives -“Take at most X damage” bonus objectives all give 200 cash -“Take at least/exactly X damage” bonus objectives all give 500 cash

Attachments

-Fixed weapon attachment getting stuck and not updating if attachments were being applied to the weapon as the level changed

Perks

-Perks with non-placeholder icons have had their icon sizes increased -Speed Boost perk icon added -Extra XP perk added for survival mode -Starting Turret perk added -Double Golden Floppy Disk perk added for normal mode only -Perks gathered from a run get scrapped at the end of the run

Turrets

-Turrets follow the player through level changes -Turret reload interaction time increased 0.5s -> 1.0s -Turret reloads faster after interaction trigger -Turret ammo reduced to double input weapon from player -Upgrading turrets give them more ammo -Turrets gathered from a run get scrapped at the end of the run

Shop

-Upgrading the shop weapon/perks/attachment inventories increases the number of options given at shop levels (up to a max of 3) -Adjusted walls so the shop space is smaller

Characters

-Talon dialogue barks added for beating the final boss -Talon art updated (looks a bit scruffier)

Base

-Starting cash always displayed by upgrade item -Turret shop shows description of Turret

Resources

-Cash gathered from a run get scrapped at the end of the run -Fixed game crash on death if cash had been collected

Traps

-Fixed weapon traps sometimes positioning their weapon badly -Fixed weapon traps not reloading ammo automatically -Decreased weapon trap idle countdown from 5s to 3s

Menus

-Postgame menu shows player equipment gathered during a run getting scrapped -Fixed crash when accessing controls settings menu

Other

-Barrel HP reduced to 1 so they are always a single hit -Default Gamepad reload input changed to Right Bumper -Fixed camera not considering gamepad aim for positioning -Fixed dynamic camera zoom for multiplayer not working correctly -Toxic cloud damage has been standardised and increased across all instances -Fixed Portal not being available after killing the final boss -Portal text says “BACK TO BASE” instead of “CONTINUE RUN” after killing final boss -Scrap Icon added to the game

Dev

-GIF Recording with F12 temporarily disabled for maintenance (causing crashes) -Screenshoting with F11 pauses the game -Standardised shop and currency systems across existing purchasing interactions (to easily apply to other interactions in the future) -Implemented system for enabling/disabling perks for each run mode
